Roadmap for Research Deanship: RDA Accreditation

The accreditation roadmap outlines steps and requirements for research deanships to embark on the journey towards accreditation under the Accreditation Program for Research Deanships (RDA). The estimated time frame is 3-6 months but may vary depending on your available resources and starting point.
Stage 1: Self-Assessment and Preparation (Months 1-2)
- Review the RDA Framework: Thoroughly understand the RDA criteria, standards, and assessment methodologies. Download and study the detailed documents provided by the RDA program.
- Conduct Internal Self-Assessment: Analyze your deanship’s strengths and weaknesses against each RDA standard using the self-assessment tool provided by the program. Gather relevant data and evidence to support your evaluation.
- Identify Gaps and Develop Improvement Plans: Based on the self-assessment, identify areas requiring improvement to meet the RDA standards.
